Linux Administrator

This is your job

• Planning and commissioning of Linux-based systems such as web servers, email servers, storage systems, container platforms, and databases
• Automating deployments and rolling out and updating configurations using Ansible
• Consulting customers on building new systems/applications
• Administration, expansion, and further development of internal systems
• Troubleshooting in second and third level support in the Linux environment
• Monitoring IT landscapes using monitoring systems

What you bring

• Completed training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• Relevant professional experience in Linux administration, especially Debian. Web development (React) or backend development experience—or an interest in it—is a plus
• ITIL-compliant working is not a foreign concept to you
• Knowledge in the following technologies: Bash, Python, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Nginx, GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience operating monitoring systems
• Basic networking knowledge
• Customer- and service-oriented work approach with a strong sense of quality
• Independent, structured, and analytical mindset and way of working
• Strong interest in current developments and enthusiasm for new technologies
• Solid English skills
